First Official Star Trek Trailer

If you saw Cloverfield this weekend, then you may remember this: The first official Star Trek teaser trailer was released.

I am no Star Trek fan, but I must admit, this got me a little excited. I think J.J. Abrams is the best thing to happen to geeks since the Atari, and I must say, he knows how to make exciting films.

For those who haven’t seen Cloverfield yet, or those who just want to watch it over and over again, here’s the trailer.

Star Trek is set to open around Christmas 2008.

    This probably won’t be a surprise to most but I’ve always been a trekkie. And I completely plan on owning every season of every Star Trek, and I completely plan on watching this movie. Though I think the Xbox and Halo is the best thing that has ever happened to us geeks since the Atari, I’ll put JJ in high regards as well.
