Now that the writers’ strike has come to an end, Universal Studios is once again ramping up its feature film production slate. The biggest news is that Universal is moving ahead with a fourth installment of the The Bourne Identity franchise.

Though both Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass had previously been adamant that they were calling it quits after the third installment, The Bourne Ultimatum, they have both jumped back on the wagon for another film.

No further information has been released, but speculation is that we will see The Bourne Legacy sometime in 2010.
