When I lived in Idaho Falls, there was a situation where a teenage boy went missing and the Search & Rescue team up there put in tons of time and effort trying to find this boy. Ultimately, they found the boy’s body in the river.

The Search & Rescue team up in Idaho Falls is run completely off of donations and on a volunteer basis and the mother of the boy who died wanted to find a way to raise some money for the Search & Rescue team to thank them, so she contact Brian Regan, told him the story, and he agreed to come out to little Idaho Falls and do a two night Benefit Show with all proceeds going to the Search & Rescue team.

I was pretty impressed that a guy who could be selling out bigger venues in bigger cities for way more money would take time out of his tour to do something like that. I was even more impressed when he went back a year later and did the show all over again for the same cause.
